Toronto grocery price comparison

Compare grocery, pharmacy, baby, and household prices across Toronto stores. Enter your postal code, search for what you need, and see results from every nearby retailer ranked by what the trip will actually cost you.

Why Toronto-specific comparison matters

Loblaws-platform retailers — No Frills, Real Canadian Superstore, Loblaws, Your Independent Grocer, Fortinos — set prices per store, not per chain. A 2L bag of milk at a Trinity-Bellwoods No Frills can be $0.50 different from the same banner in Scarborough. National comparison sites average this away. Shelfbee scrapes one branch per GTA zone and shows you the price at the branch closest to your postal code.

Toronto neighbourhoods we cover well

Any Toronto FSA works as a search input. Coverage density is highest where retailer branches cluster:

  • M5VDowntown / Entertainment District
  • M4YChurch-Wellesley, Upper Jarvis
  • M6JTrinity-Bellwoods, Dufferin Grove
  • M6GAnnex, Christie Pits
  • M4KRiverdale, Greektown
  • M4LThe Beaches, Leslieville
  • M5NForest Hill North, Yonge-Eglinton
  • M2NNorth York Centre, Willowdale
  • M1PScarborough Centre
  • M9VRexdale, Etobicoke North

If your postal code is outside this list, search still works — branch coverage may just be sparser. Distance is computed from your FSA centroid (about 5 km precision) unless you opt into precise browser location.

What you can search

Plain language works. Try:

Freshness signal on every price

Prices refresh weekly. Every result carries a color-coded freshness chip — green for this week, amber for last week, orange or red for older. Shelfbee hides prices more than 21 days old rather than showing you a number we can't stand behind. The trust pact: we never claim more than we know.
